Razumijevanje ovisnosti može biti težak koncept. Većina pojedinaca vidi negativno ponašanje korištenja droga i označavaju tu osobu kao "lošu" ili "slabu". Oni bi trebali biti sigurni da uključuju opis svakog koraka i odrede kada je najbolje vrijeme za prekid ciklusa.
