In the story "Cyclops" Odysseus wants to see a Cyclops so he goes to the Island of the Cyclops. When him and his men arrive they see a Cyclops in a pasture taking care of his sheep by a cave. They waited for the Cyclops to arrive, when he did they tried talking to him and end up getting trapped. Later, when the Cyclops is sleeping Odysseus gets a stake and stabs the Cyclops in the eye, blinding him. The Cyclops prays to Poseidon to curse him for taking his eye. After, he hides himself and his men under the sheep to escape in the morning. After the escape, Odysseus is filled with pride so he tells the Cyclops his name and to remember that he is the one who blinded him.
Odysseus's curiosity got to the best of him and he took his men to the Island of the Cyclopes
When they arrived they saw a cave and a Cyclops in the pasture taking care of his sheep, so they waited for him to arrive in the cave.
Ahh! My eye!
After, he hid his men and himself under the sheep to escape in the morning.
