Storyboard Description

Tristan Winton 3rd period Odysseus was very curios to see what the cyclops looked like, so he decided to visit them, He brought 12 of his strongest men. The cyclops ate 6 of his men. Odysseus decided to trick the Cyclops, by telling him that his name was Nohbdy, and he fed him wine. After he fell asleep they got a spear to stab the Cyclops eye out, and when the Cyclops cried for help he said "Nohbdy has tricked me!". The other Cyclopes thought he said Nobody, and didn't help him. Odysseus tied his men under sheep and sneaked them out. After he got back to the rest of his crew, they decided to sail by the island, Odysseus told the Cyclops his name was Odysseus and not Nohbdy. This made Poseidon (The father of all Cyclopes) very angry.

Storyboard Text

  • Odysseus and 12 of his strongest men decided to visit the cyclops.
  • What are you doing in my cave?!
  • After the cyclops found the men in his cave, he ate 6 of them.
  • Odysseus fed the cyclops some wine and told him his name was Nohbdy. After he did that, he poked the cyclops eyes out. When the cyclops yelled for help from other cyclopes, he said "Nohbdy tricked me!" so the cyclopes thought he said Nobody, and didn't help him
  • The cyclops moved the rock, but blocked the door, feeling every sheep that passed by. Odysseus put each of his men under a sheep.
  • After that the crew escaped to the other men.
  • After Odysseus got the rest of his crew, he sailed by the cylopes island, and foolishly told the cyclops his name was actually Odysseus. This made Poseidon (his father) very angery
