Cherokee Nation v. Georgia
Georgia passes laws that strip the Cherokee Nation on their rights to their land.
We refuse to be removed from our land.
Georgia does not have the right to make these laws because you don't have the jurisdiction to do so.
You are just like children which means that yall cannot think for yourself. So, in that case, yall have no right to own land.
The Supreme court cannot make a decision because the Indian tribes are a 'domestic independent nation' not a foreign nation.
By refusing to help the Cherokees, the Supreme Court left them at the mercy of the land. they were ultimately forced to move to Oklahoma among the Trail of Tears.
