  • Can anyone tell me what the ocean floor features are?
  • The islands, the trench, rift zone and the abyssal plains
  • The Contenintal shelf, slope and rise
  • Science
  • currents are created by the wind, density and water presure, also caused by temperature in the air.
  • Great! Now how are waves, tides and currents created?
  • Tides happen 4 times a day. They are created by the gravitational pull of the moon circleing the earth causing tides to happen. 
  • A wave is created by the wind on the surface of the water causing a wave to form 
  • Fantastic! Now how is erosion and depositon made
  • Deposition is formed by sedments such as rock, soil, etc. are added to the land mass
  • Also there are two types of weathering! Mehcanical and Chemical!
  • Erosion is created by bits of rock, soil, etc. from one place to the other. 
  • Now what are constructive and destructive forces
  • A destructive force is someone or something that breaks down land mass
  • A constructive force is someone or something that builds up the land mass
  • Pollution is when someone or something harms the environment with things that shouldn't be there
  • Conservation is when someone or something helps the enviornment such as cleaning up trash
