As the Unicorn enjoys some delicious grass her fleur de layers falls out of her hair beneath the coniferous tree.
The unsuspecting unicorn, unaware she had lost her flower continued on her merry way. Meanwhile, the conifer tree drips resin onto the fleur de layer.
The resin-covered flower slowly begins to polymerize and turns into copal. It starts to rain and the copal-covered flower is enveloped in mud and rocks.
The copal-covered flower stays underground for millions of years and slowly oxidizes, while continuing to polymerize, the copal has become amber!
The rock is put under stress and folds, moving the amber-encased flower closer the top.
A huge storm occurs and the rock erodes so the flower is now in the top layer of rock. Scientist soon comes and discover the fleur de layers, finding the amber covered fleur de layers.
