  • Hey,  Whazzup? Mrs. W. send me the paper that we did in class b/c I was gone. Amber
  • Dear Amber Watson,          That is not the right way to write a email or talk to a teacher. I will not send you the paper that you need to get done because your parent told me that you skipped class. That is not okay. Sincerely, Mrs. Willman
  • Now to the formal way of writing an email.
  • This is a bad way to write an email to a teacher.
  • Dear Mrs. Willman,  Will you please send me the stuff that we did today? I sorry that I skipped class today. I will not do it again. Sincerely, Amber Watson
  • The teacher getting the email and writing back.
  • Dear Amber Watson,  I will send you the paper that we did today. I am glad that you will no longer be skipping class. Sincerely, Mrs. Willman
  • Amber get the email back. She debates whether or not she skip class tomorrow. She realizes that skipping class is bad and to learn how to write a formal email.
  • This is the difference between a good email and a bad email to a teacher.
