  • The Treaty of Versailles  was created once the war was over, to create peace between the countries and punished Germany for causing the war. It was signed June 28, 1919
  • The Treaty of Versailles
  • The Nazis grew in power and blamed Germany's loss during WW1 on the jews. The leader of the nazi party was Adolf Hitler. The nazi party had become the largest political party by 1932 and Hitler legally gained power in 1933. 
  • Nazi Party
  • The attack on Pearl Harbor was a surprise military strike by the Imperial Japanese Navy Air Service against the United States which cased them to join WWII.
  • Pearl Harbor
  • Allied troops were led by general Dwight Eisenhower staged an invasion at the beach of Normandy, France it signified the opening of a western front in Europe and proved to be the 'beginning of the end' for Hitler. 
  • D-Day
  • Germany began isolation of jews in the ghettos. Concentration camps by design were to separate the enemies of the rich and groups in this  are could be controlled and forced to work for the nazis. Isolation and emigration was not working fast enough to get rid of jews & other inferior groups, so extermination camps were built, where prisoners would arrive and march before the pannel of doctore for a selection and would go into the gas chambers.
  • The Holocaust
  • Nazi leaders were tried for: crimes against peace, war crimes, and crimes against humanity. These charges were proven using the Nazis own propaganda films and documents as well as allied films taken as camps were liberated.
