  • Crocodiles like to spend most of their time in the hot sun. Crocodiles may have short legs but they can run fast!
  • Crocodiles are Reptiles. Crocodiles can reach up to 6 feet when fully grown. Crocodiles are nocturnual, which means there most active at night.

  • Crocodiles mostly drag their prey under water to kill them. But they can do a death roll.
  • Crocodiles are carnivores,which means they love meat. They can weigh up to 2,200 pounds! In their lifetime they have more than 3,000 teeth!
  • Crocodiles have been around for more than a millon years! They can live to be 50 years old. Crocodiles can grow as long as a car. They lay 50 eggs per nest. The females remand close to the nest untill they hatch. The babys weigh less than one pound.

  • Crocodiles live in lowland tropics. Some Crocodiles live in Egypt like the Nile Crocodile. Some live in North America like the American Crocodile. Oddly one type lives in the ocean which is the salt water Crocodile. There are a lot more Crocodiles with a lot more homes.

  • 1. There are 14 species of Crocodile. 2. Salt water Crocodiles spend almost their life in water 3.The largest type is the Nile Crocodile. 4.One of the most powerful bites ever. 5. Biggest Reptile in the world. 6. They have a harder bite than a great white shark.
