Ahh, this is very good. (num num num)
If food comes in it must come out somehow?
I can help you there, I am a master at the digestive process.
The first part of the digestive process is when you chew your food. So when you ate that hamburger, your teeth was mechanically breaking it down and that is called mechanical digestion
Your spit, called saliva, also ties in with the first part of digestion. It chemically breaks down the carbohydrates with enzymes called chemical digestion
Wow, that's very interesting
The food travels in a long tube, the esophagus, that squeezes the food down to the stomach. The stomach is contained with enzymes and hydrochloric acid that breaks down food even more
That's cool but how come the acids in your stomach do not burn through it?
There is a lining of mucus that protects your stomach from the acid. Without that, your stomach would burn off and the acid would get in your insides.
