  • Act II: Doubt and Guilt
  • "'twere best not know myself"(II.ii72)
  • Act 111: Ambition and Manipulator
  • "Both of you Know Banquo was your enemy"(125, 146)
  • Macbeth changed from a respected thane, loyal to king duncan to becoming a murderer. Macbeth let his ambitions for power take over being influenced by the prophecy.
  • Act IV:Curious and Blood Thirsty
  • Having Macbeth just murdering Duncan, Macbeth change from feeling guilty for his actions to taking matters into his own hands. At the beginning, Macbeth didnt want to go through with the plan but in the end Macbeth was the one in control of a plan he made himself.
  • Act V: Reassurince and bravery
  • Macbeth changed from being horrified of the idea of murder to being the person stirring up the murder of Banquo. Macbeth was no longer being manipulated by lady Macbeth but was making plans of his own.
  • Macbeth first needed to be manipulated for murder but now does it for the fun of it. Even though he finds out Macduff is no threat to his reign he still sends out to have him and his family killed. Macbeth now needs to know from the three weird sisters and is desperate to find out what comes his way.
