  • Act 1. Macbeth is a very strong and brave fighter who was greatly honored.
  • Act 2. Macbeth betrays his king and becomes an evil person
  • act 3. macbeth orders banquos death and is a power driven person
  • are you so gospeled to pray for this good man and for his issue, whose heavy hand hath bowed you to the grave and beggared yours forever? (iii,i,87-90)
  • the captain thinks Macbeth is brave "for brave Macbeth" (I,ii,16), he is an honored warrior who is admired by his peers.
  • act 4. macbeth becomes paranoid and is confused on what to do so seeks help from the witches
  • thou hast harped my fear alright. but one word more- (iv,i,74).
  • macbeth says "is this a dagger which I see before me" (ii,1,32), he is a very blood thirsty person and betrays his country.
  • act 5. Macbeth is a war mongering tyrant that is a little cocky
  • whats he that was not born of woman? such a one am I to fear, or none (v,vii, 3-4)
  • he is a manipulator who uses less fortunate people for his personal needs. he realizes that banquo threatens his power so he has to find a way to get rid of him so he hires two men who Macbeth says banquo has harmed them.

  • Macbeth started out as a noble warrior but was then promised the title of king and he didn't know how to become king. he then had a radical plan to kill the king and become king. he then knew banquos kid was a threat to his power so he ordered their death but fleance, his kid got away. Duncan's kids left the country to get other countries to overthrow Macbeth. Macbeth then went to the witches to know more about his future. the witches basically told him no one can overthrow Macbeth so that makes him become over confident in his power. he was assured macduff cant harm him but still orders the death of his family. this causes macduff to seek revenge but Macbeth has to kids to kill. the English round up their army and meet at birnam wood and grab branches to make them uncountable. a messenger tells Macbeth that an army is coming but Macbeth doesn't believe him. then Macbeth is forced to fight and macduff kills him. Macbeths ignorance and self assurance gets him dead
  • macbeth wants to make sure his power is secure and will take no chances to end any threat of his power. macduff was no threat to im according to the witches but he still wants his death
  • Macbeth feels invincible and little does he know his worst nightmare is coming true. he doesn't believe the messenger when he tells Macbeth about the marching army coming for him. then once he sees it he is ready for war but feels betrayed by the witches
