Six symptoms of the bubonic plague.

Storyboard Text

  • Swellings appeared in the groin or the armpits. Some of the swellings became as large as an apple and an egg.
  • The victim can develop a rash and here d be pain all over the body as the disease attacks the nerve system.
  • Thoughts = Can't Sleep + Pain + More Pain + Even More Pain + Tiredness + More Painful Swellings
  • Swellings called buboes become large and extremely painful.
  • Buboes caused bleeding underneath the skin which led to more of the swellings.
  • The victim would become very tires but with all the pain, it was very difficult to sleep since there was the feeling of pain everywhere.
  • Normally people died within five days of catching the disease.  It is thought that between 50% and 75% of those who caught it died.
