  • This scene is showing how all of the students had seen the sun, yet Margot never got too. The characters in this story is Margot and her classmates.
  • Climax
  • The conflict in this story is about how a girl named Margot who always dreamed about living in the summer and getting to play in the sun but she never got to because the sun only comes up once every seven years.
  • Falling Action/Resolution
  • When the teacher goes out of the classroom, all the students decide to shatter Margot´s dreams and lock her into the closet. Margot cries and begs to get out.
  • Theme
  • While all of her classmates go outside to enjoy the sun, Margot is still stuck in the room crying. They all are outside enjoying themselves and playing while Margot is inside locked in the room.
  • Moments after everyone stops playing and everyone starts noticing the sun is coming up, everyone starts heading back in when they relaize that Margot is still in the room. They open the door....
  • When the students open the door, all they hear is silence. The theme of this story is think about how you want to be treated because they left margot in the room.
