  • The three Weird Sisters can't wait to meet Macbeth. When they meet Macbeth they say that "fair is foul and foul is fair" meaning that They look ugly, but the predictions they offer are beautiful to Macbeth. They are then referring to the entire world of the play.
  • Act IV
  • •Banquo can't sleep because he is thinking about the prophecy. Banquo is tempted by the prophecy but Macbeth has a plan. Lady Macbeth manipulates Macbeth. Macbeth has a vision of a bloody dagger. Lady Macbeth rings the bell and that's a signal for Macbeth to go kill King Duncan. Macbeth doesn't want to but he has to. Since Macbeth killed King Duncan he says that his faith and guilt is destroyed. Then Lady Macbeth questions his manhood.
  • Act V
  • In order for Macbeth to win the prophecy he has to murder Banquo. If he doesn't one of Banquo's sons would be king. So, Macbeth sends murderers to find Banquo and his son Fleance. When the murderers found Banquo and Fleance they killed Banquo but they couldn't kill Fleance because he fled.
  • Final Analysis
  • The witches complete their magic spell and summon forth a series of apparitions. The first is an armed head that warns Macbeth to beware the Thane of Fife. The second apparition is a bloody child, who tells him that "none of woman born / Shall harm Macbeth."
  • Macduff and Malcolm bring the English and Scottish men to Dunsinane and they start a battle. Macbeth and Macduff fight then Macbeth tells Macduff that he won't be able to defeat him, but Macduff kills Macbeth and he carries Macbeth's dead body to the castle.
  • Macduff ends up being king because he killed
