Once upon a time, in a kingdom not so far away. There lived an uncivilized king who finds the aesthetic in having the accused put on trial. This is where he or she may choose their fate. In one door there lies a famished tiger and in one a beautiful bride.
The king however has a daughter who has been secretly in love with a peasant boy. The king is not pleased when he finds out of her love for the boy. He immediately sent the youth to prison, and would be put in trial.
The tiger cages of the kingdom were searched for the most ferocious and savage tiger. Finding one fitting the kings expectations and placed into its cell behind the door.
The young boy loved the princess, everyone knew that. But the king was not happy, everything was set for the trial. The king and his daughter sat anxiously at the top in their royal chairs.
The young boy had been casted out into the arena where everyone watched in anticipation. In one door there was a bride that if he had chosen that door he was to be married to her right in front of his love, the princess. The alternative was him being eaten by a starving tiger.
The princess stared down at the boy filled with sorrow, she knew what door held which outcome. She didn't want her love to die, but she also didn't want him to marry the lady she despised. So without hesitation, she pointed at the door with the tiger behind it. If she couldn't have him, no one could.
