Storyboard Text

  • Thomas Jefferson
  • In the Election of 1800 the two people that were going for presidency was Thomas Jefferson and Aaron Burr. Thomas Jefferson was an Anti-Federalist and Aaron Burr was a Federalist
  • Aaron Burr
  • Alexander Hamiliton didn't like Aaron Burr so he started convincing people to vote for Thomas Jefferson
  • Did you hear about what Aaron Burr did? Don't vote for him, I don't think he's going to be the right one. Vote for Thomas Jefferson
  • Is that really true? I'm for sure voting for Thomas Jefferson now
  • "I heard you have been telling lies to people and convincing others to vote for Thomas Jefferson. I request a duel with you unless you confess it's all lies and take it back."
  • Alexander received a letter from Aaron Burr asking for a duel
  • This was the time to see if Aaron Burr uses his shot on Alexander Hamilton, and if he doesn't shoot then Alexander Hamilton has the chance to use his gun on him.
  • This is you're last chance, admit everything was a lie or I'll shoot you!
  • Never! You don't deserve to be President, you aren't worthy enough.
  • Aaron Burr takes the shot and shoots Alexander Hamilton. There he now lays, on the ground, cold. His fault.
  • I gave you you're chance while you had it, Alexander Hamilton. Adios.
  • Thomas Jefferson
  • As you can see, Aaron Burr had end up using his shot on Alexander Hamilton. Though after all of this, Thomas Jefferson had end up winning the Presidency after a tie had been made, which was then broken by the House of Representatives. Though, I think they shouldn't have settled this in a duel. There are other ways of settling this rather than just killing the other person. Adjustments can be made by the use of speaking or negotiating deals. Taking one's death shouldn't have been the answer to that, especially if it wasn't a serious crime.
  • Currently dead Alexander Hamilton
  • Aaron Burr
