  • The Lakota and Cheyenne people were waging war with the Veho people (white man).
  • Resolution
  • There was a war between the tribes. Buffalo Calf Road Woman saw that her brother, Comes In Sight, was in trouble and going to be captured so she went and helped him. Everyone was in shock of her braver so the war was settled.
  • Lesson / Moral 
  • Comes In Sight (brother) is attacked and going to be captured
  • The Cheyenne bravery intimidated the Veho people and the Veho people withdrew.
  • Anyone can be a hero, no matter who you are. Never underestimate the power of a woman. You should help someone no matter the cost. Bravery can help solve problems.
