Cynthia Ann Parker was born in Crawford County, Illinois between June 2, 1824, and May 31, 1825.

At age 9 she was taken from her family by a large force of Comanche Warriors and brung her back to their forts.
For about 24 years she grew up with the Comanche Warriors and met her now husband and had 3 kids.
She asked over and over to be allowed to return to the Comanche warriors but her family refused. The Texas legislature did vote to let her be able to pay $100 a year for five years. She also learned to speak English and tried to do the ways of the white woman by learning to weave and cook to help there familys.
Her health was getting worse and her daughters health too everything went down hill from there.
She refused to eat and died from starvation in 1870. She was buried in Henderson County, Texas in the Fosterville Cemetery.
