  • Cynthia Ann Parker was born in Crawford County, Illinois  between   June 2, 1824, and May 31, 1825.
  • $100 per year 
  • At age 9 she was taken from her family by a large force of Comanche Warriors and brung her back to their forts.
  • ACK!!!!!
  • For about 24 years she grew up with the Comanche Warriors and met her now husband and had 3 kids.
  • She asked over and over to be allowed to return to the Comanche warriors but her family refused. The Texas legislature did vote to let her be able to pay $100 a year for five years. She also learned to speak English and tried to do the ways of the white woman by learning to weave and cook to help there familys.
  • Her health was getting worse and her daughters health too everything went down hill from there.
  • She refused to eat and died from starvation in 1870. She was buried in Henderson County, Texas in the Fosterville Cemetery.
