C.S. Lewis was born on November 29th, 1898, in Belfast, Ireland. His mother was Flora Hamilton Lewis and his father was Albert J. Lewis. He also had an older brother named Warren.
After finishing school, he left to go fight in WW1.
When fighting, he was wounded by shrapnel and sent home.
After returning home, he taught literature to young kids at Magdalen College.
Soon, he joined a group known as 'The Inklings' and re-embraced Christianity. He wrote a series of books where he include some Catholic figures as characters.
On November 22nd, 1963, he sadly passed away in Headington, Oxford.
