My name is Fatima and I tell the story of Iqbal. Me and 14 other children are forced to pay back our family's dept. throughout the story you will watch how we fight for what we think is right.
the theme of the story Iqbal is fighting for your own rights, in this case children fighting to end child labor.
toward the middle of the book Iqbal decides to run away. though he gets punished he has a start to his freedom
Also toward the middle of the book our leader Hussian Khan assigns him to make a difficult rug design that could earn more rupees. Iqbal puts everyone in shock when he rips the rug.
later in the book Iqbal once again runs away. this time he comes back with a man who is trying to stop child labor. the man takes all the children and gives them a free life and he arrests Hussian Khan.
in the end of the book the theme fighting for your own rights is shown because even if it was hard Iqbal and the other characters fought for what they believed was right.
