  • when/what: you need to know that it was a very popular game and that the union soldiers brought it back home to them and taught a lot of their family who keep't  on showing people this sport.

  • we need to know and remember this event because it shows that they weren't just fighting and they had some fun. this event also impacted the civil war, rational history because in the civil war this game would take them away from fighting and now it is a popular sport.
