Gold and Salt Trade/Silent Bartering
By 150232, Updated
This storyboard does not have a description.
These men are working hot, long, tiring days mining salt, but it will all be worth it once they get their hands on some gold.
Now they have to journey across the Sahara Desert in order to trade from salt.
When they arrive at the river, they place their salt then bang a drum to let the gold traders know where they are. They don't speak each other's language, so they use silent bartering.
The salt trader collects the gold while the gold trader walks over to collect the salt.
The deal has been done, so the salt traders head back home with their camels.
Once home, they go back to mining salt for the next exchange.
