Nope. You're gonna stay home with mom and dad.
I'm coming with you!
The letter: "Dear Phoebe, I can't wait around till Wednesday any more so I will probably hitch hike out west this afternoon. Meet me at the Museum of art near the door at the quarter past 12 if you can and I will give you your Christmas dough back."
Look at the bears!
Holden waits in the museum feeling depressed and feels even more depressed when he see curse words on some museum property and believes that when he dies, his tomb will have curse words on it as well.
Phoebe arrives at the museum with a suitcase of her cloths, an action stating that she will move with Holden and follow him around. She begs to take her with him, but Holden refuses.
The Caulfields decide to go to the zoo and Holden says that he will pay for her ticket. They looked at sea lions and polar bears and had some brother/sister time with each other.
After their trip, Phoebe gets on a carrousel while Holden sits on a bench to watch her, making him tear up. Holden decides to become the 'catcher in the rye," making sure no one follows the path he went through and save them from the misery.
