170 ships set out from Lisbon sailing together in a crescent shape which the English would find difficult to attack.
Where are they????
The Spanish are spotted off Cornwall on 29 July 1588. The English launch their ships and got to chase the Spanish through the channel but don't sink a single ship.
The people in the ships sail the boats down the River Thames.
The Spanish arrive in Calais 5 August 1588 and they wait for the other Spanish soldiers from the Spanish Netherlands to arrive but they don't show up!
