  • Scene Thirteen: Reaction. Jesus sees his disciples reaction Judas betrayed Jesus and lead the guards to Jesus. They arrested him in front of the disciples. the disciples tried to interfere, however, Jesus told them to let it happen. Jesus knew that this needed to happen.
  • Put your sword away Peter.
  • Scene fourteen: Angle low (looking up at the stage) Pilate gives the crowd a choice of who to let go. After the crowd chose Barabbas, Jesus faced his trail and was found guilty. He was to be crucified because he was the king, not Caesar. This was not cool with Caesar so he sentenced him to death.
  • No! Give us Barabbas!
  • "It is your custom for me to release to you one prisoner at the time of the Passover. Do you want me to release ‘the king of the Jews’?”
  • No! Give us Barabbas!
  • Scene fifteen: Pan across the prisoners The crucifixion of Jesus has begun. Jesus has carried his cross up the hill and is hung next to two other prisoners. The guards have nailed his wrists and his ancles to the cross.
  • John 21:25.
  • Scene sixteen: Point of view - Mary Magdalene Mary Magdalene goes to the tomb three days later and sees that the stone has been rolled away and that Jesus' body is gone. She immediately ran to Simon Peter to report the news.
  • The tomb is empty!!!!
  • Scene seventeen: Zoom in on Jesus as he is speaking Jesus appears to the disciples and shows them his hands. After speaking with them, he goes to see Thomas who was not present with the others when Jesus arrived.
  • “Peace be with you! As the Father has sent me, I am sending you.”
  • Scene eighteen: Fade in, fade out The end of John
  • "Jesus did many other things as well. If every one of them were written down, I suppose that even the whole world would not have room for the books that would be written."
