I will miss you, Joey. I will never forget you.
Let's keep him. Bring him back to base.
On a wet, dismal day Joey is sold of to war and is separated from young Albert.
What shall we do with him?
He galloped into the battlefield, following the lead horse, but got trapped and taken away by the Germans.
I say heads!
While he was in the German's grounds, there was a shelling. Joey gets lost and severely wounded.
He is found in the middle of no-man's land by both English and German sides.
They decide to flip a coin for who gets Joey. England win and he is taken back to the English trenches.
At the English trenches they clear up Joey's wound. Soon to figure out that the boy who cleared up the wound was Albert.
