  • Late night on Monday
  • Juliet is impatiently waiting for night so that Romeo can come to her.
  • "And bring in cloudy night immediately." (3.2.4)
  • "Come night. Come Romeo. Come, thou day in night." (3.2.18)
  • "That runaways' eyes may wink, and Romeo, Leap into these arms." (3.2.6-7)
  • The Nurse tells Juliet that someone has died. Juliet thinks that it is Romeo that has died at first.
  • "Is Romeo slaughtered and is Tybalt dead?" (3.2.71)
  • "But Romeo's name speaks heavenly eloquence.- Now Nurse, What news?" (3.2.36-37)
  • "He's dead, he's dead, he's dead!" (3.2.42)
  • When Juliet first finds out that Romeo killed Tybalt, she curses him. When the Nurse does the same, she curses the Nurse, because she is still loyal to Romeo.
  • "Blistered be thy tongue." (3.2.99) "Shall I speak ill of him that is my husband." (3.2.106)
  • "Beautiful tyrant, fiend angelical." (3.2.81)
  • "Shame come to Romeo!" (3.2.98)
  • "Some word there was, worser than Tybalt's death" (3.2.119) " That "banished," that one word "banished," Hath slain ten thousand Tybalts." (3.2.124-125)
  • Juliet is not as bothered by Tybalt's death as she is by Romeo's banishment.
  • "Is father, mother, Tybalt, Romeo, Juliet All slain, all dead." (3.2.134-135) "There is no end, no limit, measure, bound, In that word's death." (3.2.136-137)
  • "Give this ring to my true knight, And bid him come to take his last farewell." (3.2.143-144)
  • Juliet is very upset and wants Romeo to comfort her, So the Nurse will go and get him.
  • "And death, not Romeo, take my maidenhead!" (3.2.138)
  • "I’ll find Romeo, To comfort you." (3.2.139-140) "I’ll to him. He is hid at Lawrence' cell." (3.2.142)
