  • The 22nd Amendment stated that the President of the United States can only serve a total of 2 terms in office.
  • The 6th Amendment guarantees citizen's the right of speedy trial, a fair jury, an attorney if the accused person wants one, and the chance to confront the witnesses who is accusing the defendant of a crime, meaning he or she can see who is making accusations.
  • The 26th Amendment lowered the voting age to 18 years old. 18 year olds began their protest around the Vietnam War, where 18 year olds could be forced to serve in the military, but could not vote.
