  • Act: 2 Scene: 3 In Friar Lawrences garden the transitions into Friar's room
  • Eric Grossmiller
  • "O, mickle is the powerful grace that lies. In plants, herbs, and sones, and their true qualities." (2. 3. 15-16)
  • Friar Lawrence is in his garden/field picking the weeds and flowers. He is talking about the qualities and beauties of the garden.
  • "I must upfill this osier cage of ours with baleful weeds and precious juiced flowers." (2. 3. 7-8)
  • Romeo enters and about how plants are poisonous yet they are helpful.
  • "Within the infant rid of this weak flower poison hath residence and medicine power." (2. 3. 23-24
  • "Therefore thy earliness doth me assume Thou art up roused by some distempurature, or if not so, then here i hit it right: our Romeo hath mot been in bed tonight."(2. 3. 40-44)
  • Friar explains to Romeo that he found out that romeo never went home last night.
  • "Then plainly know my hearts dear love is set on the fair daughter of rich Capulet." (2. 3. 57-58)
  • "With Rosaline my ghostly father? No, i have forgotten that name and that names woe. I'll tell you thee ere ask me again. I have been feastily with mine enemy" (2. 3, 45-46)
  • Romeo and Friar go into Friar's room and romeo explains to friar that he was not with Rosaline but he was with Juliet. Romeo tells Frair he is in love with juliet.
  • Frair Lawrence has agreed to marry Romeo and Juliet. He feels it will bring the families together.
  • "Oh she knew well thy love did read by wrote, that could not spell, but come, young waverer, come, go with me, in one respect, i'll thy to turn your households rancor to pure love" (2. 3. 87-89
