Going to Capulet's Party Sunday Night
Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet Act 1 Scene 4 David Roberto
Going to the party, Romeo and Mercutio were talking about the night and that they should dance with some girls at the party.
"But let them measure us by what they will. We'll measure them a measure and be gone." (Act 1. Scene 4. Lines 9-10)
"Is love a tender thing thing? It is too rough." (Act 1. Scene 4. Line 25)
"If love be rough with you, be rough with love." (Act 1. Scene 4. Line 27)
Mercutio tells Romeo to find someone to love at the party. Romeo says no because he is not ready but Mercutio changes his Romeo's mind.
Mercutio shared his dream to Romeo about a woman who is like a fairy. This fairy makes people dream lies and make them feel bad.
"Oh, then I see Queen Mab hath been with you." (Act 1. Scene 4. Line 54)
"I fear too early, for my mind misgives... With this night's revels, and expire the term of a despised life closed in my breast by some vile forfeit of untimely death." (Act 1. Scene 4. Lines 108, 110-113)
Romeo tells the other's that he dream't about his future and own death.
