This storyboard does not have a description.
Montressor approaches Fortunado at the public event, and tells him of the supposed bottle of Amontillado in his Catacombs.
Fortunado already being in a drunken stagger is tricked into going deep into Montressor's Catacombs.
After feeding Fortunado wine all the way through the Catacomb, Montressor chains up and builds a brick wall around Fortunado. He leaves him to die, because Fortunado previously insulted him and his family.
The Catacombs represented death......
The Amontillado stood for the happy ending where both of the men stood and drank it together, but really it was a symbol for the end of Fortunado's life.
Fortunado's cough seemed to be one of the motif's of this piece of literature. Continuously reminding the reader of his current state of health.
