On July 14th, members of the third estate stormed the prison Bastille, a symbol of absolute despotism, to steal it's gun powder as an act in the Revolution.

The rebellion spread to the country side, where peasants revolted using violence due to harsh taxes.
We will not pay our feudal dues!
The Great Fear
Angry women rioted due to prices over bread. They stormed the palace Versailles in search of the King and Queen.
Kill Marie Antoinette!
