Hera was Queen of the Olympian gods. In the story of the Quest of the Golden Fleece, Hera was a gracious protector of the heroes. Hera had few, if any, redeeming qualities. She never forgot an injury.
Known as the god of War. Son of Zeus and Hera, they both hated him. He was willing the wreak havoc in order to show his might in battle and rarely thought of fighting for justice and defence. His acts caused his parents to hate him and look up to Athena.
She was is the goddess of wisdom, craft, and war. Athena was portrayed as having a calm temperament, and moving slowly to anger. She was believed to only fight for just causes and never fight without a purpose.
She was the daughter of Zeus and Leto and the twin sister of Apolo. She was primarily a virgin huntress, goddess of wildlife and patroness of hunters. She was an important goddess in the lives of women, especially when it came to marriage and young creatures.
