Storyboard Text

  • (4.2.18-24)
  • Father, You were right, I shoudl have listened to you. I will marry Paris!
  • (4.2.51-60)
  • I would rather die than to have to be unfaithful to Romeo by marrying Paris.
  • (4.5.35-40)
  • My dear daughter, My only daughter has married death.
  • Juliet is talking to her father, telling him that he was right and she will marry Paris. She tells him that she should have agreed right away because it was the right thing to do from the start. She asks for her father/families forgiveness.
  • (4.1.80-90)
  • When Juliet goes to visit the Friar she is very desperate for his help. She will do anything to not have to marry Paris, including killing herself. She threatens to kill herself right in front of the friar as she begs for his help. She has no fear of whatever he suggests as long as she does not have to marry Paris. "Do thou but call my resolution wise, and with this knife I'll help it presently."
  • (4.1.69-77)
  • Yes, I'll Take it!!!!
  • "My daughter he hath wedded." by saying this Juliet's father means that she will now not be able to get married because she had died before the wedding. She died alone, she married her death.
  • (4.5.91-95)
  • "O'ercovered quite with dead men's rattling bones, with reeky shanks and yellow chapless skulls." Juliet is scared that she will be surrounded by the bones of her ancestors and she is scared of what she might see if she wakes up before they come to get her.
  • What if I'm surrounded by my family's dead bones. All their faceless skulls looking at me. What if Romeo never comes to get me and I die of suffocation....
  • The Friar is to blame for most of the mistakes. He was the one that married Juliet and Romeo, he gave Juliet the potion to make her sleep and he didn't tell anyone about all the things that he was doing.
  • If you would rather "die" then to marry Paris, I have potion where you will appear dead for 42 hours.
  • While Juliet appeared to be dead they changed the wedding setting to a funeral. The Friar was trying to comfort everyone and act sad even though he knew she was fine and was going to wake up soon inorder to be with Romeo. This is dramatic Irony because the Friar and the reader/audience knows more than Juliets family.
  • Juliet is not really dead.... She will be awake soon
