  • Me!!!
  • What?! Santa isn't real!
  • Who's ready for Christmas?!
  • I can't wait for Santa to bring me presents!!!
  • Virginia's family is pretty well off. Their house is large and they have a fair amount of money. They lived in the 1800's.
  • Virginia's father says "If you see it in THE SUN it is so." He finds the newspaper very reliable for his news and the truth. He thinks they are always honest and never tell a lie.
  • "Yes, Virginia, There is a Santa Claus."
  • All of Virginia's friends are talking about Christmas. But what she find very sad is... they don't believe in Santa!!! This makes Virginia doubt her beliefs.
  • Since her father trust THE SUN so much, she writes to them asking if Santa is real. She asks for the truth because she doesn't know if she should believe her friends.
