  • In this quote the nurse goes to wake up juliet the morning of her wedding. When she tries to wake her up she does not wake up and the nurse is getting worried.
  • (4.1.85-86)
  • When juliet went to go talk to the friar her desperation was very obvious especially in the quote ¨o, bid me leap rather than marry paris" this shows how desperate she is for the friars help because she wants to be with romeo. She used words such as roaring, battlements, thievish, and tremble they show and emphasize juliet's tone and her willingness to do anything to stay with romeo and not marry paris.
  • (3.5.160-164)
  • Hang thee young baggage! Disobedient wrench! I tell thee what get thee to church o thursday of never after look me in the face. speak not reply not do not answer me my fingers itch.
  • The quote from capulet shows how juliet is dead and how she was like a flower who died on her wedding day. This personification shows capulets shock and unhappiness that juliet is dead.
  • (4.5.66-67)
  • Juliet describes a freshly dug grave for herself she says¨ a new made grave¨. She uses imagery to describe to the friar what her tomb would look like if she were to have to marry paris and not be with romeo any longer.
  • ¨or bid me go into a new made grave and hide me with a dead man in his shroud¨
  • Juliet is at fault for everything that happened because she is young and wasn't thinking about what she was doing and what the out come would be such as leading to deaths of family members. in this quote capulet is yelling at juliet and scolding her for not obeying him. this is an example of if juliet listened to her parents she might not be in all the trouble that she is in.
  • dramatic irony is shown when all of the characters are sad and upset when they think juliet is dead but both the friar and the audience know that juliet is not actually dead. Because the friar knows juliet is alive but he is there with her family he tells them not to be unhappy and instead be grateful that she is now in heaven.
  • ¨Heaven and yourself had part in this fair maid. now heaven hath all¨
