Storyboard Text

  • Exposition
  • Hail Macbeth! Hail to thee Thane if Glamis, Thane of Cawdor! He shalt be king hereafter.
  • Conflict
  • Is this dagger which I see before me? Art thou vision, sensible to feeling as to sight?
  • Rising Action
  • Had I but died an hour before this chance, I had lived a blessed time.
  • Macbeth was a brave hero that got his prophecy told by the Three Weird Sisters, which was that he will become Thane of Cawdor, Thane of Glamis, and King. (pg.10, p.3)
  • Climax
  • Despair thy charm, let the demon whom thou still hast served tell Macduff was from his mother's womb untimely ripped.
  • This conflict is man vs. self because Macbeth was strggling with visions, and decisions between himself. Like seeing dead Banquo, and dead Duncan. (pg.37 p.2-3)
  • Falling Action
  • Macbeth fakes his grief of Duncan dying, because it was his plan to kill him in order to become king, since he wanted to fulfill his prophecy. (pg. 53 p.4) 
  • Denouement
  • My thanes and kinsman, it is such an honor to be named.
  • Macbeth realizes that the witches prophecy from their masters, was all against him. He was fighting Macduff and got shocked by what he really heard. (pg. 126 p.2)
  • Macduff kills Macbeth and cuts off his head. Macbeth's head comes rolling. Everyone cheers as Macduff won the victory. (pg.131 p.6)
  • After Macduff wins, he crowns Malcolm as the king of Scotland, and all is good again. (pg.134 p.3)
  • Hail! Hail! Hail!
