Benjamin Franklin was born on January 17, 1706, in Boston Massachusetts to Abiah and Josiah Franklin.
Benjamin Franklin was an apprentice to his older brother in the newspaper print shop. When he moved to Pennsylvania he bought the Pennsylvania Gazette which turned into one of the best newspapers in the Colonies.
Before the Revolutionary war began, the Boston Tea Party had taken place on December 16, 1773 and the the leader of this event was Benjamin Franklin.
Benjamin Franklin helped us with many documents, he helped draft and revise the Declaration of Independence and Constitution. He also helped us win the war by getting the French on our side.
Benjamin Franklin helped us discover and invent new things. These would be the discovery of electricity, the creation of the first library, and the invention of the bifocals, lightning rod, and the glass harmonica.
Benjamin Franklin was 22 he wrote his epitaph for when he would die. The time came when Franklin died on April 17, 1790, when he was 84. He died in the house of his daughter, Sarah.
