How do natural resources impact a country’s GDP?

Storyboard Text

  • How do natural resources impact a country’s GDP?
  • One natural resource called oil can impact a country's GDP because all cars run on oil and if the country has a lot they can make a lot of money out of it that could impact the country's GDP.
  • Another natural resource is trees or wood, if the country has a lot of wood and exports it, it will impact the country's GDP because a lot of things need wood like paper, wooden desks, pencils and a lot more.
  • The last natural resource I'm listing is coal, coal is used for trains and sometimes for cooking so if a country has a lot of coal and sells it it could change or impact a country's GDP.
