Feelings at the end of the book:
Steve Harmon's feelings towards Kathy: I feel like near the end Steve had liked her after growing close to her during the trial. After he gets rejected by O'Brien I feel like he lost his respect he had for her.
Kathy O'Brien's feelings toward Steve: At the end of the book you find out that O'Brien never actually liked Steve and she was just wanted the money because she rejects Steve when he was going to give her a high-five when he found out he was innocent.
