The Constitution must have a Bill of Rights. The federal government will take away the rights we need. We can't be ruled the way Britain ruled over us.
The Constitution is fine how it is. We need a strong central government to run this nation.
But if we have a strong central government the common people will lose their rights.
No, a strong national government would protect all of the peoples rights, common and wealthy.
To protect our rights we need a Bill of Rights. As long as you promise to put in a Bill of Rights we will ratify the Constitution.
We will put in a Bill of Rights later. We have the power to amend it.
The Virginia plan says a two branch legislature, which are both proportional, is needed for the bigger states to work.
We want a One house legislature so we won't lose power to the government.
We should have proportional representation so the big states can have more voice.
We should have equal representation so the smaller states can have an equal voice in choices.
We will have a Bicameral legislature. One house will be equal and the other will be proportional.
