My name is John Adams. I am one of the most famous federalists that participated in the signing of the U.S. Constitution. I believe that the government should be controlled by wealthy, well educated people. I, along with all the other federalists believe that the U.S. should have a national bank. Me and several other federalists wrote 85 essays in favor of ratification of the Constitution. called The Federalist Papers.
My name is Patrick Henry. I was an anti-federalist. I believe that the government should be run by average citizens and that we should not have a national bank but a bank run by each individual state. I also believe the Constitution should have a Bill Of Rights.
As an anti-federalist I believe that the Bill Of Rights is essential to a successful government. My fellow anti-federalists and I wrote The Anti- Federalist papers under the pen names of Brutus and Cincinnatus.
As federalists, we believe that a Bill of Rights is not essential to a successful government. We also are in favor of protected tariffs.
Anti-Federalists are in favor of being allies with France because they did not like Britain because Britain once controlled them.
Federalists are in favor of being allies with Britain because since they spoke the same language it made trade easier between them.
