  • I already got you one, you don't need another one. You barely take care of the one you have now.
  • Mom, I really want a dog.
  • I said no and that's what I mean, you don't need another dog.
  • But Mom, I would take good care of it, I promise.
  • Why won't she let me have a dog? What can I do to prove to her that I can take care of one?
  • Chloe's mom is mad at her because she wants a new dog even though she already has one that she barely takes care of. They are both in first person point of view because of the use of "I".
  • I'm going to do the dishes and start cleaning a lot and then maybe my mom will let me have a dog.
  • Chloe is sad because her mom won't let her get a dog even though she promised to take care of it. The scene is still in first person because of the use of "I".
  • Well, I guess since you decided to actually clean I should at least think about it.
  • Mom, I cleaned the dishes. 
  • Chloe is thinking about how her mom won't let her have a dog, but she doesn't understand why. Then Chloe asks herself what she can do to prove that she is able to take care of a dog.
  • I knew you'd love him.
  • Oh my gosh Mom!! Thank you so much, I love you! I love him!
  • Chloe thinks that if she cleans her mom will let her have a dog. The story is still in first person point of view.

  • Chloe's work paid off, and now she has a dog. Chloe's mom finally came through and got her a dog, and now they're both happy. The story ends in first person point of view just as it started.
