  • North States
  • 3/5 is better than nothing, right?
  • South States
  • The agreed that states would count 3/5 of their slaves for both taxes and representation.
  • You may get to count them in your house, but you have to count them in your taxes too!
  • North States
  • Even though we don't get to count all of the slaves, we can still have a more accurate representation.
  • South States
  • At least they didn't get to count them all! We would never agree on this new constitution.
  • North States
  • There is no time. We will never agree on time to go home!
  • Federalists

  • Federalists
  • After a long discussion, a final consensus was reached by the entire group.
  • Anti-federalists
  • Well this worked out quite nicely!
  • It was decided that they could leave then, and a Bill of Rights would be added soon. This pleases everyone
