  • Alright, we will keep slavery, but we shall stop importing them in 1808. We shall not write this in our new Constitution, but it will be noted as we continue to counting slaves as population, representation, and the amount of state taxes. Alright, what shall we do about the slave population.

  • As the Northern and Slave-Free states, we believe we should not count them for representation. But, we should count them for the amount of taxes that the states have to pay.
