  • Fort Sumter 
  • This is the start of the Civil War!
  • First Battle of the Bull Run
  • Wow we are both not ready for war!
  • Battle of Anietam
  • Dude you won't believe this I just found literally all of the Confederates plans!
  • Ummmmmmm I don't know where I put the plans.....
  • Fort Sumter took place in Charleston, SC. The union was running low on supplies and Jefforson Davis Ordered the attack on the Union and the Confederacy wins.
  • Emancipation Proclamation 
  • All slaves in rebel states are free!!!!!
  • The First Battle of the Bull Run was long and bloody and both sides need more training. It was in northern Virginia. The Confederacy rallied under Genaral Jackson.
  • Battle of Gettysburg
  • This is horrible everyone is dying!
  • The Battle of Antietam took place in Sharpsburg, Maryland in September 1862. The Union found the Confederates plans for the battle and the Union wins. This battle was the bloodiest with 6,000 dead and 17,000 wounded day so both sides lost a  lot of soldiers.
  • Gettysburg Address
  • The Emancipation Proclamation was not a battle, it was when Abraham Lincoln made a proclamation that all the slaves in the rebel states were freed. So then what about the boarder states. were they actually free? 
  • In the Battle of Gettysburg the Confederacy came over and invaded the north and charged them on Union lines. General Lee was leading the attack but then left the south on their own so the Union won. This battle had the most casualties of the Civil War.
  • President Lincoln dedicated a cemetery to the Union soldiers who had died in the Gettysburg Battle. He redefined the war in his 2 minute speech that became one of the most famous speeches in history.  
  • We are not letting this happen again.
