The Goddess of the hunt, Artemis spent seven months with her brother Apollo in the womb. She was born knowing one thing, "Guys are kinda gross" (574).
I can't wait to meet all the maidens!
If I run fast enough maybe I can get away from Apollo!..
Hey Apollo look it is me!
Artemis immediately grew to the size of a six year old. She helped give birth to her brother, becoming a goddess of child birth.
Artemis's hunters were all maidens, until Zeus inpregnated Artemis's best friend Callisto. Artemis wanted to help Callisto but Artemis had to obey by her rules.
Artemis Made a third best friend, Hippolytos. Artemis wanted to finally maintain a friendship, however Aphrodite believed he was too good looking so she interfered.
Artemis ensured Hippolytus's safety. After, she wanted to continue to make friends but recognized that she couldn't if she wanted to keep her hunters safe.
After losing two men best friends, Artemis became hesitant to let men join the hunt. To ensure her followers safety, she didn't let herself get close.
