Joe and John are done with there time-outs, So John tells Joe that he does not want to steal. Joe tells John that he wants to steal, So then John asked why he wanted to steal, Joe said because I don't have any money. Joe asked John why he did not want to steal, John said because it is not right to steal.
Keep Thinking of ways to stop
John said how about you pick out any candy that you want and I'll buy, Joe said that is good with me, and thank you John.
When Joe and John are done picking out their candy they peacefully walk out.
Allow each person to talk means to let them say their side of the story and talk, Let each person ask questions means to ask questions to understand their side of the story.
Keep thinking of ways to stop means to try to think of something that will make everybody happy and get their way.
The way John and Joe fixed there problem was by compromising, you can tell because both sides in the conflict agreed to give up something to reach a solution that will satisfy everyone
