Week 1 - pages 1-146 of Found by Margaret Peterson Haddix
This storyboard does not have a description.
Jonah sees a figure he does not recognize standing in his bedroom.
Jonah tells his parents that he thinks there is an intruder.
Realizing there is actually no one there, Jonah is confused.
The main character, Jonah, sees someone in his room, through his window, on his way home from his friend's house. Knowing it likely is not either of his parents, Jonah is both confused and alarmed.
When he gets inside, it is confirmed that the figure was not one of his parents. But, his parents are skeptical because they believe that they would have been able to hear an intruder if there was one.
Once they go to his room, it is discovered that there is definitely no one else there. I believe that this scene is significant because it was frightening to the main character, is referenced often after it happens, and caused the reader to wonder who the figure was.
